Terms and Conditions

MayMova is an online marketplace and technology platform that connects customers requiring vehicle transportation services with independent third-party transport providers.

By using the MayMova website, mobile application or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

MayMova is not a transporter, carrier, logistics company, courier service or insurer.

MayMova provides a platform through which customers may request vehicle transportation services and receive bids from registered transport providers.

Any transportation agreement entered into is solely between the customer and the selected transport provider.

MayMova performs reasonable verification and vetting procedures on transport providers before permitting them to participate on the platform.

Verification may include, but is not limited to:

• Identity verification
• Business registration verification
• Vehicle documentation verification
• Driver licence verification
• Insurance verification where applicable

MayMova relies on information supplied by transport providers and information available from third-party sources.

While MayMova takes reasonable steps to verify transport providers, MayMova does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, validity or ongoing correctness of any information supplied by transport providers.

Customers remain responsible for conducting their own due diligence before accepting a bid.

MayMova does not provide insurance cover for any vehicle, cargo, goods or property.

Any insurance offered in connection with a transport service is provided solely by the transport provider.

Customers are responsible for:

• Requesting proof of insurance
• Reviewing policy terms
• Confirming coverage limits
• Confirming any exclusions

MayMova makes no representation or warranty regarding the adequacy, validity or enforceability of any insurance policy held by a transport provider.

Customers may be required to make payment through the MayMova platform.

MayMova may hold customer funds securely until transport services have been completed and required delivery documentation has been submitted.

Payment release procedures are determined by MayMova from time to time.

MayMova charges transport providers a service fee equal to 10% of the total payment for each completed trip. This fee is deducted from the amount released to the transport provider upon completion of the job; the customer's payment amount is unaffected.

Customers are responsible for accurately declaring:

• Vehicle condition
• Vehicle modifications
• Mechanical defects
• Non-running status
• Existing damage

Customers should photograph their vehicles before collection and retain records of the vehicle's condition.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MayMova shall not be liable for:

• Vehicle damage
• Theft
• Mechanical failure
• Delayed delivery
• Loss of use
• Consequential damages
• Misrepresentation by transport providers
• Actions or omissions of transport providers

Any claim relating to transportation services shall be directed to the transport provider responsible for the transportation.

MayMova may assist in facilitating communication between customers and transport providers.

MayMova is not obligated to adjudicate disputes and reserves the right to determine the extent of any assistance provided.

All transport providers operate as independent contractors.

No employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship exists between MayMova and any transport provider.

Users may not provide false, misleading or fraudulent information.

MayMova reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of fraudulent activity.

To the fullest extent permitted under South African law, MayMova's total liability arising from the use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid directly to MayMova in connection with the relevant transaction.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

MayMova reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any amended Terms and Conditions.
